Henry was born 26/3/1862 Limehouse. He married Mary Ann Chamberlain 25/5/1885 St Paul Bow Common Church and had 4 children. |

Thank you so much for all your help. Looks though Lucy never married but not finding her death is still a mystery!. Astra...I have been looking for Henry for a few years and knew he was a mariner in 1885 but just could not find him. Are you able to tell me what type of vessel he was on? |

If i remember from checking earlier the Ituna wasn't wrecked until 1921 and it was a cargo ship. So Henry was maybe taken ill or had an accident while on board and was hospitalised on the Azores where he died. |

According to the image of the Maritime Deaths record, Henry Whapham was a Fireman on the Ituna. His last abode was 34 Northey Street, Limehouse. |
