Could this be Ashley? But it says he's a son of John & Mary. |

Hi Margee, thank you so much for responding so quickly and for all the information. Both Walter and Ashley I'm thinking of were my adoptive uncles. They were adopted by Susannah Jenkinson and James Kinrade along with my mother Norah Williamson and went to live in Sheffield. Walter joined the army and died of typhoid in India. I must have been 10 or 11 at the time. But Uncle Ashley lived into his 70s. |

So for info only, is this the family that adopted them? |

You really need to get one of the birth certs to confirm MMN. The Walter and Ashley in the 1901 are too old to have been born in the years you give. |

But it seems to be the wrong information going by the birth dates you have given us. |

Yes, Lenora Williams is my mother, Norah Williamson. Think James and Susannah were trying to hide her for some reason, intriguing. Her birth mother's name was Mabel Williamson. Have drawn a blank regarding her ancestors. |
