Thanks Margee. I've just checked my tree and my Stamp family come from Barton but I cant see a Elizabeth Stamp. But I will do that research some other day, |

On that 91 census Elizabeth A. Stamp was just listed as lodger. She was born 1881, Barton, Lincolnshire. |

As she was recorded as being 28 when she died in the first qtr of 1900, her birth must have been before 31st March 1872 |

The inclusion of Elizabeth in her name when she married (you forgot to tell us that) would seem to suggest that the 'granddaughter' in the census records is the right girl |

That one in 1881 with Thomas is looking good. It would possibly agree with the baptism record in FreeReg that i have just found. Although it had her mother as Mary. They have her as being born in Wyberton. I suppose Phebe could be a second marriage??? |
