Would anyone know where the church records for Broadheath Methodist Church, Altrincham, would be archived? Still trying to see if we can identify the father of my late father in law; there is nothing marked on his birth certificate to indicate anything about the father so I am not hopeful (I have been searching for ages) but I just wondered if by any chance there would be anything listed in the church records, or if she applied for parish relief etc and had to name him, although I think this is unlikely. |

Is this in Cheshire? A google search shows this site, with details of where to go for records: |

oh, lovely, thank you both, I will give it a go. I am not holding out for any hope though, they all clammed shut for life on this one ……. which makes it intriguing!!!!! |
