Cannot find Jabez Wride in 1911.

Jabez Wride born 1874 St George Bristol. Parents Henry and Caroline Wride.

May have married in 1901 to either Hannah Nicholls or Elizabeth Ann Meare.

Any help would be appreciated.

Article text:
RESISTING THE POLICE. Jabez Wride, Annie Maggs, and Hannah Nicholls were charged with resisting P.C. Jackson, 32 D, in the execution of his duty.

The article goes on to say that the PC was arresting a man called Hawkins and the 3 defendants intervened to try to stop this. Wride and Nicholls had been previously convicted and were fined 10/-.

There was also a mention of Jabez in the Western Daily Press of 02 August 1916.

He was prosecuted for buying malt and corn known to be stolen. He bought it for his fowl. Described as a milkman of 1 Nag's Head Hill, St George. Fined £10.
