All i am certain of at the present is that this is the correct marriage

The only census they show on is the 1861 as Hedge BUT the dads name doesn't tie up .

Think you may be looking at the wrong family

Are you sure its the right family as Mary was 38 when she married in 1852 so would 48 in 1862 a bit late to be having babies at 46.and 47

Thomas Hedger b.1822 married Mary Houghton b.1814 married at St Wilfrid, Standish on 11/04/1852. I have been unable to locate them after this date.
