The image gives Fred's name as Napper (not sure if this is his middle name or his surname - but I think middle name)

If you buy the marriage certificate of Phyllis Storey to your grandfather it should name Phyllis's father which would tell you if this family is the right one.

When someone registers a death they often get the year of birth wrong but usually get the day and month correct.

The Houghton le Spring birth could fit with the death but just one year out.

she died in 1982

we believed she was born in 1915 in county durham but the records dont match
