Thank you Mike I was a bit stuck with Williams birth I was starting to think he was from Lancaster, as his Grandson Peter joined The Kings Own Lancaster Regiment so thought there was a connection..I am hating Ancestry's new search it takes too long getting around..and as for The Family History site that's annoying too gives you baptisms when you want Marriages etc...gonna look in to this Robert now

There are a couple in Wigan

Hi I am trying to find the father of a Peter GORNALL born c1861 in Liverpool he had siblings Henry born c 1864, Robert 1859, James 1855, maybe one will have a baptism their mother was called Mary, not having much luck on earlier census and mary was widowed.
