Might be worth contacting Carl Chinn, the Birmingham historian.
I know his Chinn family were from the Aston area.
He is a lecturer at Birmingham University. If you google his name I´m sure you will find a means of contacting him

Look in 'search all member trees' - under the 'search' button

Only someone researching him would 'have' info..........anyone else would have to look for it

thanks for the replies, i do know carl chinn slightly and know he traces back to Rowington so that link to sarah chinn at claverdon is very welcome as it puts my ancestors in the same area.
