I was told by my birth mother's landlord that my father was Sergeant Davis from England. Of course, I have no way of knowing if that info is accurate. I have no way to connect with my birth mother. :-( |

I realized after I posted that Bowling was her married name. The Davis I am looking for would be a cousin to Jean Hunt, born in 1933 in Bristol. Her parents were Albert Hunt (1903-1979) and Lizzie Dickenson (abt. 1905-1978).Her grandparents were Henry Hunt (b.abt 1857-Ipswich), Charlotte (abt 1862-Devin), Ridley Dickensin (abt 1878-1942) and Elizabeth A. (abt 1879-Sunderland). |

Davis, indeed a common surname. But I would think it unlikely that there were many in S Korea in 1952? Army records? |
