Thanks for the detail of Mary's years before her marriage. I actually have pretty comprehensive info for her, her siblings and her ancestors, so it's what happened after she left England where I'm drawing a blank. :-)

Have you tried this website?

https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz/search/

Though I have to say, having had a look myself for deaths or marriages of any of the family, I can't find anything conclusive - unless perhaps any of them had middle names (I know Richard L did, but don't see anything for that name.).
It only shows marriages up to 02/03/1934

EDIT: Just a possibility for son Richard's death??

I am trying to pick up the trail of my great aunt, Mary Hurdley, whom I have been able to trace from her birth in 1874 at Madeley in Shropshire, until she sailed from Liverpool to Wellington in June 1907.
She was the daughter of John Hurdley (b.14.01.1827 in Madeley) and Elizabeth Hurdley(neé Griffiths, born 1831 in Broseley). She was the eighth of ten children and became a dressmaker.
On 29th April 1899, at Birch Meadow baptists Chapel, Broseley, Shropshire, she married Richard Porter, a joiner and carpenter, born 1877 at Shifnall, Shropshire. Richard was the son of Richard Porter (b.1851, Sheriffhales, Staffs) and Jane Porter (neé Harper, b.1850, Sheriffhales).
The couple were living at 85 Bright Street, Wolverhampton at the 1891 Census with their daughter Amy (aged 3 months). On 28th June 1907, Richard and Mary, with their three children, Amy (b. 1901), Mary (about 1903) and Richard L (about 1905), sailed aboard the DEVON, from Liverpool to Wellington, New Zealand.
I am aware of a number of Hurdleys in NZ, who may or may not be related to me, but I have no further news of Richard and Mary Porter and their family. If anybody knows agout their life after 1907, I would be very grateful to hear from you.
