Try contacting the Church, by phone, letter or e-mail

I would suggest you phone the church or write (with an s.a.e) I have emailed many churches over the years and found that I rarely get replies to emails.

Phoning and talking to a verger ett. who will know the plots well is a good way to get help. They may even know of other plots with same names. Or even if there is more than one person in the grave or if it was a public grave.
