Not seeing anyone with surname Piro on 1911 census.

There is just 1 on the 1901 - Vincenzo Piro age 26 - he comes from Italy and is lodging with other Italians in London.

I do think the first step is to get the marriage certificate to get her father's name.

At a quick search the surname seems to be of Italian origin?

that looks about right, thankyou, i hadnt though to look in the death records, however for some reason there is still no birth record for her when i look, i want to find out her mothers maiden name so i can carry on the tree

Do you have the marriage certificate - was Anna noted as a Spinster or could she have been previously married so Piro not her maiden name?

Can anybody help me find the birth record for this lady, who i believe is my Great Great Granmother. She was married to William S McNair in 1937 in Hendon Middlesex, and had a daughter who was called Anna C A Mcnair in 1941. there is no trace of her birth record anywhere, i dont know if this is because she was born in another country?
