I am wondering if someone would be willing to go to the Manchester library and look up the BURIAL details/dates/plot references for the following for me. They are buried in St Andrews, Dearnley. I am overseas so cannot go myself!

James Heys died on 27th March,1904 (at 717 Mount View, Dearnley) and his wife Elizabeth Ann Heys died on 24th July, 1912 (at 707 Halifax Road, Dearnley).

Their 18 year old son, William Heys died on 8th March, 1906 and he is buried in a separate plot there, so I understand

Any help would be very much appreciated

Perhaps the vicar of St Andrew's could help you?

Or maybe this:

Dearnley Cemetery, Arm Road, Littleborough, was opened 1894.
All records held at Rochdale Cemetery.

That's from this site:

I had contacted the vicar at St Andrews - that was how I found out the records are in Manchester library!

Have you looked on the Library site to see if you can email them direct

Looks like you won't get any info from the library for a few weeks - but you can email them once they're open again:

These are the records they have for St Andrew's:

Burials-1895-1949- Archives L290
