I am trying to find my aunt Edna Elsie Miles birth, so as to establish mothers name.
Born november 1918 in Birmingham Area. Have all other details marriage etc
Had sister Daisy ? brothers Charlie and Jack, may have been more.
Would like to find mothers maiden name. edna married Arthur Foster in 1939 June.

i don't have Marriage Cert, info from her daughter in law, who may have it. I remember going to the wedding though!! I was VERY young, but have seen pic of me there.
think I will go with the Thompson one. Daisy may have been named Margaret, but she did definatley have a sister of that name Her husband was my mothers brother, so I did not know all her family

i will look further at her family now, as all have passed away sadly
Yes was my mothers brothers wife, so I was very close to her, but in those days I would never have thought that a wonderfull thing like the internet, would come along , so never thought to ask details of older relatives, hence I want my granchildren to know about their family tree,before I go.

My grandmother was born 27th November and she was registered in the Jan/Feb/Mar quarter the following year...just thought I would mention that
