Hi I am looking for the above. I know thta Irene Hazel Turner married Genadiuz Bondor on the 3rd of Feb 1945 in Gainsborough. I have the marriage cert,but dose not give her fathers name . I know that Genadiuz Bondar came to England about 1939. He change his name to Bondar but sometimes it is down a Bondor, In 1945 he wa in the polish RAF at Abingdon oxfordshire . thank you sandy :-)

Hi My sister was married to 1 of the son of Irene and Genadiuz. My newphew trying to do his family tree and has asked me to help him.On marrige cert Irene age look like 20 year old and wits to marriage are A...s Turner and ... Southwell. They were married in a parish church, can not make out name of parish church at the top of the cert. At time of marriage Irene wa living at 11 Mowby street in Gainsborough, not a very good copy of marriage cert. My sister has been told that both of her son grandparents are dead. she also think that they had 3 children. We do know that Genadiuz mother and sister was taken to Germany by the nazi, his mother died in Germany in a camp and after the war his sister when back to Poland we think to look for her brother.When Olga was found (we think by the red cross ) Genadiuz had to go to Poland and confirm it was her , that was sometime in the 1950. I do think it will be hard to found Genadiuz family in Poland but hope we can found Irene family. Thank you sandy and Jill

Irene Hazel Bondor born 24/9/1924 died Gainsborough reg March 2007.

A tree on Ancestry has her as Irene Hazel Baker born 28/9/1924 Gainsborough V 7a P1112 to Charles Baker 1886 and Flora Tasker 1891-1976.
She also married Mr Bondor and had 3 sons!!

O/N/D 1925 Flora Baker married Harry S Turner.
Flora Turner born 25/3/1891 died Dec 1976 V7 P 1548.

Was H S Turner one of the witnesses on Irene's marriage cert??

Also someone on here with the surname of Bondar has Irene Baker 1924 in their tree!!
