Henrietta Poole is the sister of my grandfather, Thomas Henry Poole, also a Music Hall artist, whose father is Richard Edward Poole of Poole Zanlo and Poole, (Thomas Poole b.1856,and John Henry Poole b.1868 (Zanlo) who later on went on to .run a circus. We have a Herbert Poole on the Poole tree but I'm not sure whether the above H. Poole is ours. He is the son of Richard Edward Poole b.1829 and his third wife. There were other Pooles working the theatres around Britain who are not part of our family - thereby adding to the confusion. Grandfather Thomas Henry and Henrietta had five siblings also performers.

According to trees on Ancestry that have Henrietta her father was Richard Edward Poole (died 1901) and mother Olive Hamstead.

Looks like the Bombay marriage fits.

The only music hall artiste I found in The Era was a Florence Henrietta Poole but that was 1900 so not likely yours. What was her stage name (if any)?

Married Harriet Catherine L. Hunt (1868) in West London. Edward and Harriet's children were:
Kate Ruby Poole (b.1869)

Arthur Poole (b.1874)1871 census return, and the 1881 census for Edward and his family. In the 1891 Census, 1901 Census and 1911 Census, Harriet is living on her own. Edward is living with his nephew Alfred Davis in 1911 but missing for 1891 and 1901.

I am hoping that someone in Genes may know something of her. I've been searching for Henrietta for months and have reached a dead end. She is the sister of my grandfather who also was a Music Hall performer.

Look at the top right hand corner of the screen – see the word ‘Search’ with the magnifying glass icon next to it?

Hover your cursor over the word ‘Search’ to reveal the drop-down box.
Select ‘Search all member trees’

Fill in the details of the person and click Enter.

Although Jax has already pointed out that only you have Henrietta listed, anyone doing the same would come across your entry.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but if Henrietta Poole is in your tree that's all you need to do. If someone else is trying to find her they will find her name and will be able to contact you.

If she is in your tree which she is....it shows on the search trees

I can see it...but you cannot see your own tree entries

Your title says 'Search trees'

If that is what you are trying to do...go to search at top of the screen, select search all trees then put those details in

edit- she only looks to be in your tree anyway
