Someone's tree on Ancestry has Albert's death as 1930 ( but no source)

and his wife as MARY Doris

Catherine Report 18 Feb 2014 19:44

Well I can't find a marriage for Albert to anyone never mind Doris?

I know it doesn't help with a death but I really think you're going to have to buy the birth certificate for daughter to find mmn I'm afraid to try and make some sense of this one.

EDIT:-
If he disappeard after 1911, then he may of course have died in World War1.

Did they have any other children born after 1911, this may help trace a mother's maiden name?

Harry isn't a twin to Doris. Just a coindence,

This is him in 1911

John

John Report 18 Feb 2014 18:26

I am trying to track down a death for my great great uncle, Albert Dore, he was born in Helston, Cornwall, on 1st March 1887, I have found him in the 1911 census and he has moved to Wantage, Berkshire, married, can't find the marriage though and had a daughter, I have managed to find details for the daughter, he seems to disappear from 1911-1930 when she married as it is stated on the marriage certificate that he was deceased. There is an Albert E Dore who died in 1943 in Chard, which is where the rest of the family ended up, but if it is him, why has he been marked down on the daughter's marriage certificate as deceased.

Any help with this is grateful
