Trying to trace John S Davies. parents lived in Sudbury, Harrow. After his fathers death cannot locate either him or his mother Liliy Davies(nee Stoneman).

The woman's maiden name was Stoneman - see the marriage, and the child's birth

What was his dads name as there are more than one Lily/ Lilian Stonemen

Michael has a somewhat confusing tree on Ancestry where he links the birth of John Stoneham Davies in 1929 to the marriage of Lily and John/Jack in 1935.

BUT he also has John/Jack with another wife Doris Witney at what seems to be the same sort of time and he also has this Doris married to a Stanley James Northover :-S :-S

We really do need him to come back with more info before we can get anywhere with this.

I think he was born 1889.
John Davies senior 1825 Newport wales died 3/6/1888 buried Anfield Cemetery 7/6/1888 he was a Baptist Minister of 30,Saint Albans Road,he is on 1881 census with wife Elizabeth born 1814.His occupation then given as Minister Welsh Baptist.

John Davies married Mary George in West Derby 1885 8b 914.
they had Harriet J Davies 1886?

1891/1901/1911 Mary Davies, Harriet J and John William are in Beaumaris Wales.

1915 John William Davies is in Calgary Canada enlisting in the Canadian Army.
His mums address given as 79,Wellington Avenue Liverpool, his previous address was in Beaumaris Wales occupation given as Bookeeper.

on his marriage to Doris Witney in 1918 states he is a Sargeant in CAPC?
