The famly with the Islington baptisms are a different family from that of John the Shoemaker that Reggie posted the 1891 and 1871 for, so presumably not the family you were looking for?

Your original message stated that Thomas was born 1871 - hence my query - as the 1891 census records his age as 23

I KNOW it was transcribed as FitzgibbonS in 1871 - that is due to the way the name is written.

just found March qtr 1866 Thomas FitzGibbon St Lukes ..... most of our research the name has been FitzGibbon the 1871 Census you found lists FitzGibbons , know these variations do happen with some names on Census

We are searching for our ancestors John Fitzgibbon and Mary A Reardon married at St George in East during the Dec qtr of 1866 . We also found them on the 1891 Census living with their children @ 3 Webber Street, Lambeth district of London. John Fitzgibbon is listed as born Limerick, Ireland .. Mary as being born in Cork Ireland they are both 48yrs of age. John Fitzgibbon is listed as a shoemaker.

We have searched the 1881 , 1871 Census but can find no trace of this family on either even though from the 1891 census it would appear that their eldest son Thomas was born in Wapping in 1871 and the remaining 7 children were born in the Lambeth district between 1873 and 1887 .
