Yes, that's the cert which Tracy seems to have safc but there is another marriage for a Sarah Jane Ratcliffe in 1899 to a Joseph Darbyshire which I have detailed above and that couple seem a better match for the Sarah Jane she is following.

We need some feedback from Tracy to see whether she may have the wrong marriage cert, which I suspect.

We need to know exactly how she has worked her way back to get to these people.

If she didn't name a father on her marriage registration then the chances are she was illegitimate and possible lurking under a different surname in 1881 if her mother had married by then.

Do a search of the 1881 with just Sarah Jane and her birth year and place of birth Leigh, I found this one but cannot find then on any other census so the surname may be mistranscribed.

It could be a complete red herring but it is a little unusal for the children not to be listed by age.

Just a note, If the census posted by BeverleyW 3 Feb 2014 21:45 is correct then you may have the wrong marriage details

She could have married somewere else

Edit How did you get back to her in the 1891 census? See if you can find her with husband on the 1901 and or 1911 census to see if it gives the same birth details.
