In July 1916 a cousin of my Father was injured by being shot in France.
A newspaper report states that he was being treated in a hospital in Rochdale.
Has anyone any knowledge which hospital ths might have been and where any records for the hospital might be kept.

I doubt very much that records from 1916 will have survived

...try googling.............

If he was shot in 1916 in France then I would presume he was injured in WW1. You may find some information on his military records.
