I had already left before your request but will be going back in the near future and will check for you. As the old parish was in Worcestershire but I think is now in Staffordshire so she may have come from Staffordshire.

Did they live in Old Swinford after their marriage?

Had some success and managed to get my head round the reels.

Your Brophy's were not on the register for 1954 and I couldn't see Bewdley Road North either, but they were there in 1955

22 Bewdley Road North Hanora Brophy, Patrick J Brophy and Patrick M Brophy

The Coningsby Drive, Kidderminster address was more difficult. The registers on film stop at 1959 and I didn't see it in 1954 or 1955, but with go back in the future and recheck 56-59 now I have the hang of them

Hi Jan.
Could you please see if you can see a marriage between John Sewell & Elizabeth around 1810.
He was from Old Swinford, but they don´t appear to have married at St Mary, so she was probably from another parish
They were both born around 1783. I have her surname as Harrington, but this may not be correct.

How kind of you! I wonder if you would please be kind enough to check out a couple of addresses for me on the electoral register? I know it can be quite a laborious process so don't feel you need to more than the bare minimum!

As follows:

21 Bewdley Rd. North, Stourport-on-Severn. 1954 (looking for Brophy)

135 Coningsby Drive, Kidderminster. 1990ish (if they don't have them this recent, just the most recent would be great).

Barring more floods I hope to go into Worcester tomorrow or Tuesday and will be visiting the Record Office in the Hive.
