Was 19 year and 10 months when enlisted in 1893, occupation labourer. Born parish of St James, can't make out town.

Married Agnes Maria Double (spinster) at St James, Bury St Edmunds on 19 May 1908.

The records give dates when he was posted but not where to. The medical pages show the poor man was a martyr to boils, abscesses and gumboils. An odd case of certain unmentionable "infections".
