Searching for Ernest Perry Jnr born abt 1929 in Philadelphia. His father was my wife's Great Grandfather also called Ernest Perry emigrated from England to USA in 1921 from Bolton and was born in 1892. Found details for both Ernest's and Margaret Perry on both 1930 and 1940 census. Ernest Jnr would now be 84. Any information about him or his family would be welcome.

Holly that is my Ernest, I tracked him from UK to America as far as 1942 where he was registered for draft during WW2, no record of his death and no new info on Ernest jnr. Catherine, are those 1991 and 1994 record death ones?

I saw the death record posted by Margee but I found it to be a bit strange as birth date is given as 19 Aug 1928, but there is also this record for an Ernest H.Perry born same date but who is still living in 1996:-

All I have is the census detail for 1930 and 1940 no middle name listed but I guess there could be. He would be about 84 now. That branch of family are known for longevity. My granddad his brother died 96 so I am hoping! I do feel a novice when it comes to searching in USA.

If he is living he will be 84 years old ... and he may have just had all kinds of personal information about himself, including what could be his current home address, plastered all over the internet here w/o his knowledge or consent. I never cease to be amazed.

re the apparent conflict between the death date for an E H Perry and more recent location info ... a widow might continue a telephone listing in her deceased husband's name for example, and I am not persuaded of the accuracy of any of those 'public record' listings in any event
