I am looking for the parents of George Grimmett who married a Martha Clewes in Weston Subedge in 1720. This would give him a birthdate of 1690 to 1700c.

Can anyone help as the only George I can find is one in 1682 in Moreton in the Marsh who married Elizabeth Margetts.

Any help appreciated

Where do you think he was born/baptized?

Don't assume an age at marriage.............it may not have been his first

Where have you looked?

For anyone who isn't aware........these places are in Gloucestershire

According to an Ancestry tree George Grimmett was born 1672 Subedge and died 1738 He married Martha Clewe 1720
Martha was born 1700 and died 1732 2 children are on the recoprd , Peter b 1724 and George b 1726
Parents are shown George no DOB and Elizabeth Mergary (1641-1672)

There is also another tree with a different birthdate and 2nd marriage .

Could be the son... and a mix up with the spouse ?
