CHILD NEGLECT AT LEITH.

Sentence of four months' imprisonment
was passed at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on
Peter Skivington, 7 Bowling Green Street,
Leith, who admitted having neglected his
two children by failing to provide them
with sufficient food and clothing.

The Fiscal stated that on 2nd June accused
had pleaded guilty to a similar charge, and
sentence had been deferred in order to give
him a chance. When he went home, how-
ever, he became worse than ever.
