Reggie

Thank you so much. The answer was obviously staring me in the face?

Do I feel a bit dim or what?

Thanks Steve

No need to view census................

B S = British Subject

It's only me....

Continuing to try and track my late Mum's cousins family. Can someone tell me what the entry "America B S" means? I've had previous information that Walter Banks was born (about 1883-85) in the USA but is a British citizen. Could it be a simple transcription error and it may be B C standing for British Citizen or the other thought that struck me is that America B S may stand for "America Bound Ship"?

I know that it's a very minor point but it's puzzling me. Any kind soul got a view of the 1901 census? See below

Thanks in advance

Steve
