Hi everyone

Does anyone have access to the burial records at St. Margaret's, looking for James Broughton who may have died in 1847, believe his wife Hannah was buried there in 1843. Got conflicting dates for his birth of 1782 and 1794.

His age will be recorded on the death cert..................a copy will cost you £9.25 ordered online from the GRO

Thank you to everyone who replied regarding James Broughton's burial, not sure any of the ages given for him and Hannah are reliable but it is them on the 41 census, so they probably guessed their ages!!!!

The records for St Margaret, Leicester, show Hannah Broughton buried on 4 June 1843, aged 54, and James Broughton buried on 28 July 1847, aged 65. This is likely to be the James Broughton of December 1782, although he was only 64 at the date of burial.

Thank you Stan for the burial info for James and Hannah Broughton, think they must be the couple on the 1841 census living in Humberstone Gate even thought the ages are way out.
