So if she was living in Hackney it would be highly unlikely that she would die in Lambeth...unless you know why she would be there?

As John had PMed with the same question about searching all members trees....
...............

Look towards the top right of this screen.
Do you see the word 'Search' with a symbol like a magnifying glass?
Just place your cursor over that word which will reveal the drop down box with different categories.

One of them under 'Popular Searches' is 'Search All Members Trees'

Click on that and complete the boxes to the best of your ability. If she was married, use her maiden name. If it WAS her maiden name.......have a lot of patience! You could try the name of another immediate relative if that is more unique.

Dear respondents

I must at first, apologize for being away from my computer when you kindly submitted your messages, which are appreciated.

With regard to message from +++DetEcTive+++ time 15 07, how do I search other member trees?

To Jax Elizabeth Smith was living at 35B Sidney Road, South East Hackney, London.

Again thank you all for your response.

With kind regards.

JOHN.

If you can easily get to Lambeth Archives, you can search the burial registers for free.

Have you searched all members trees (with her maiden name if married) to see if anyone else has her listed? They may have relevant information.

What about this from https://www.deceasedonline.com/servlet/GSDOSearch for the Lambeth death?

(or perhaps not - Lambeth is a bit distance to St Pancras/Camden)

burial register summary
last name Smith
first names Elizabeth
burial date 20 Apr 1932
authority London Borough Of Camden
location St Pancras Cemetery (Camden)

There is also this one, but again the distance factor applies

last name Smith
first names Elizabeth
burial date 13 Jul 1932
authority London Borough Of Islington
location Cemetery (Islington)

To view the register entry you have to purchase credits - minimum cost £5, each scan costs £2. It still works out cheaper than a full DC unless you want to see the cause of death. There are often other differences depending on who arranged the internment

Dear Members and Helpers

Me again, still trying to trace the exact date of death of the above.

Before I APPLY for another death certificate, does anyone have information, in respect of 'Elizabeth Smith's ' death, recorded as under:-

QUARTER JUNE 1932 AGE 78 LAMBETH

QUARTER SEPTEMBER 1932 AGE 79 WEST HAM

Elizabeth was born 16 June 1853, therefore either of the above could apply to her.

Thanking you in anticipation.

With kind regards.

JOHN.
