Hi,

Thank you. Yes that is his probate. Thomas Woods Soper is Frederick's brother. They both married ladies who had the same surname as Lewarn so I am assuming that they married two sisters.
I haven't come across a middle name for Frederick yet.

Many Thanks

Hi Chris,

Thank you very much for that.
Is there any way of finding out more information about his birth without ordering the birth certificate? I.e. Mothers maiden name, date of birth, date of baptism or the exact place of birth, I know he was born in Plymouth.

Many Thanks
Laura

Hi,

Please can someone help me find Frederick Soper in the 1871 census. He is listed in the 1861 census in Plymouth, Devon with his parents John and Sarah and siblings. In the 1881 Census he is listed with his wife Hannah Soper (Lewarn) in Plymouth, Devon. I can find his parents in the 1871 census in Plymouth (the record is mis-spelt Saper instead of Soper). He was born in Plymouth.
Any help will be gratefully received please.
