	As i live in the West Country,is there anyone living nearby who would be willing to look up a record for me. It concerns an Isaac Brown who married [1798]and set up as a draper and tailor in Deal Kent.He was as far as i know not of that parish and i believe that in those days they had to show that they had sufficient funds to open a business.He was born in 1773 [parish unknown] and died in Deal in 1836. This being my earliest ancestor i am hoping that there could be a record held that will show where he originated from. This is my only hope left as all other avenues have been researched. Regards. 	Researching: Grout,Brown,Evans and Cook. Various but mainly Berkshire,Kent and Essex.

	I remember corresponding about this family early last year. Did I look for...and find.. a baptism for Isaac in New Romney?... I can't remember. Did you look for Wills of any BROWNs that might link, eg. Abraham? Gwyn

	PM RECEIVED .... That was my tree entry but was later found to be incorrect as there was not an Isaac born 1773 to that family. These entries will be deleted in due course. The Deal one that you state is the person that i am trying to track back on. Regards. Michael.
