Could only get a 2012 comparison on Google

A simple Purchasing Power Calculator would say the relative value is £39,510.00. This answer is obtained by multiplying £500.00 by the percentage increase in the RPI from 1861 to 2012

Hi
my grandfather X 4 Charles Haley Ironfounder died in 1861 he left some property
and £500 what i would like to know what would that be in todays money.
