I wonder if someone who as access could do me a lookup for a marriage in New York.
The marriage was between THOMAS CONWAY BORN 1869/71 IN IRELAND to MARY MORAN BORN 1868/71 IN IRELAND. They were married in NEW YORK IN APRIL 1894/96.
Could I also ask if anyone could do me a look up for their son JAMES CONWAY BORN 1897/98 IN CHESTER PA.

Hi Anne, thank you for taking the time to look. I didnt put in the fact the James came back to England when he was 6 months old, I have found him on the passenger list with his mother Mary Conway so unfortunately these cannott be my James Conway

He married Mary in NY in 1888 and had 3 children. He was the son of John, b in Ireland 1871, was a miner, enlisted in 1915 and served in France and Flanders.

According to his Service Records, he married Mary Moran in New York City on 6th April 1894. His son, Thomas was born in Pontefract on 4 Dec 1902. There is no mention of James at all.
His next of kin was down as Catherine Conway but this has been scored out and Mary Conway, wife has been added.

Thank you for the lookups, I have all the documents you have found for me, I think there was no metion of James or Catherine (she was his daughter) on his military records because they were not dependant on him whereas Thomas was. His age does vary according to his records he was 47 years old when he was drafted which seems a bit old for a soldier but I know lots of men lied about their age. It is the marriage cert and James Conways birth I am after both in America.
