Hi,

You could try The Courier. Or just search the persons name, add either Australia or the Courier.

It found what i needed.

No luck so far. Is there a census done yearly in OZ? as I probably got it wrong and she is hopefully still alive. I would hope family would inform us if not.
Maybe in hospital??

There would be an annual electoral roll compiled, but it wouldn't be accessible unless you are registered in the State, and then only in person (so I'm led to believe)

You could use the Ask a Librarian service and ask if they can confirm if your friend is still registered at the address you have. You could also ask if they will check recent deaths if she isn't registered. They may refuse on grounds of privacy, but there is no harm in trying.

If you don't get any joy with the WA AaL service, write to the address you have addressing it To The Occupier with your address on the back and email address in the contents.

It could well be that your friend was ill in the run up to Christmas, or hospitalized. She might have simply missed the last posting date and a card will turn up later this month!

Detective
Thanks for that. I am hoping that as you say she was unable to reply Sadly I do not have her phone number now, as she moved into I guess retirement accomadation, and would be close to 80 years old now.
