Firstly - Happy New Year!

I need some extra eyes (again) ;-)

I am trying to fill some gaps in my Llewellyn side branches. Llewellyn Llewellyn born in Roath in Q3 1886 was my 1st cousin 2x removed (or so the tool on Ancestry tells me!!). I know all I need to know about him.....(and just to confuse matters I have another Llewellyn Llewellyn born in Cardiff in 1881 who is also a 1st cousin 2x removed :-S )

Anyway, from a WW1 pension army record I have that he married Hannah Kezia Niblet on 04 April 1898 and, in September 1914, they lived at 13 Cornwall Road Cardiff.

He names two dependents Elsie May born 25 July 1901 and Dorothy born 19 January 1904. He also, at that time, had a son called John (born 1899).

I can find Llewellyn and the three children in 1911. But Hannah is not with them.

Her parents named her (as Niblett) on their census but she is crossed out? So where was she?

They had a child in 1915 so she was still around!!

I cannot find a death for her either.

So all help with 1911 and death gratefully received!!!!

For info I think she was Anna Kissia (Kissin) at birth

Perhaps she was going to spend the night with her parents and then changed her mind?

Her parents crossed her off the census........but her husband didn't add her on to his census?

Just trying to think outside the box over here! :-D

I've come across a 1911 census like that before, it's great - they name all their children including the 2 dead ones. Obviously misunderstood the question, and the enumerator corrected it.

Have you checked out her other married sisters to see if she was with one of them, maybe one had just had or was about to have a baby?

When & where did Llewellyn die - do you have his death certificate for the informant?

I cant find a birth or a marriage for the above.........wondered if Anna K either remarried or lived with another guy....namely Kunttu?

There is a death for Anna Llewellyn in East Glamorgan in 1955...but again the name is so common it would be a huge guess.

I'll have a look at the remarriage angle and see whether anything slots into place! I haven't been able to follow through on any of the children - such common names! Why couldn't they name them Esmerelda!!!!!!!

She obviously got her name switching from her mother - if the trees that I have looked at on Ancestry are correct she was born one Honora Coughlin but is found also as Hannah and Anne :-S
