Sorry forgot to put in what area she was living; I was looking for her father as I have her mother as Mary Ann Booth but I suspect she may have been illegitimate Thank you for the information you have found .

Her birth place is given as Tickhill on later censuses. Cannot find anything before the 1841?

Just to give some idea of location the possible marriage in 1849 was in Sculcoates

Death in 1867 in Doncaster - age 38

Before I return to work I thought I would have one more go at trying to find this lady. And the clever people on here always seem to come up trumps. The earliest I can find Bithnia/Bithynia is on 1841 census when she is at a boarding school. In 1849 she married a John Thompson and died in 1867 ,have not yet sent for marriage certificate but thinking that is the next step but have a few on order so that one will have to wait.
