thank you very much I could not find Mary Ann on census I will send for marriage certificate and check that is the correct family but it does look vey promising. Told yo were all wonderful on here ,have been looking for this lady for a while |

Sorry forgot to put in what area she was living; I was looking for her father as I have her mother as Mary Ann Booth but I suspect she may have been illegitimate Thank you for the information you have found . |

Before I return to work I thought I would have one more go at trying to find this lady. And the clever people on here always seem to come up trumps. The earliest I can find Bithnia/Bithynia is on 1841 census when she is at a boarding school. In 1849 she married a John Thompson and died in 1867 ,have not yet sent for marriage certificate but thinking that is the next step but have a few on order so that one will have to wait. Thank you for any assistance you are able to give and I think you are all wonderful people |
