The images aren't indexed - you have to select the parish and browse by image. It's very painstaking but once you get the hang of it you can whiz through.

Henry gives birth place as Bowsden (correct spelling) on some census and I think that comes under Ancroft parish, which he states on the 1851.

Thank you, I am sorry Its looks for the information you are providing I have the marriage date incorrect, the wife was a Mary J as the area is Ryhope in Durham, from the census and one of the properties mentioned was still in the family until the late 1950's from the paper records I have received from family members, so I need to work out marriage date also. together with finding Henrys parents and confirming his exact dob.

I'd be inclined to buy Mary Jane's birth cert to check out mother's maiden name (if you haven't already)

Who did he name as his father on the 1848 marriage cert ?

Hello,
Would anyone be able to confirm the above persons date of birth and parents please? The information I have retrieved so far is he married a Mary Ann Robson and had a daughter Mary Jane Mordue born 1848. The date of birth and place for Henry have been obtained from the censes but I cannot find any other records or confirmation of his parents?
Any help appreciated.
