Find Ancestors

Could anyone help me find the place of birth for John Wilkinson b abt 1830.
In the census it ranges from Cabourne to Normanby to Unknown . I know he married 1854 in Kirton in Holland to Eliza Eastgate and his father is named as Thomas Wilkinson , but I don't seem to be able to get any further, I would really appreciate any help. Thanks

Normanby-le-wold is only about 5 miles from Cabourne, so perhaps somewhere in the middle?

What is Thomas's occupation on the marriage cert?

Thanks everyone for your help, john's father is named as Thomas on john's marriage cert; but give's no occup. The John wilkinson at Cabourne who's parents are william & ruth is not the right one as he was not married to Eliza Eastgate. but 2 different women. I can find no birth in the area with a father named Thomas.

Perhaps he lied.................as there is no occupation for the 'father' on the marriage cert, he could be imaginary......to cover up illegitimacy

You won't find birth info......................the GRO didn't come into existence until 1837.

Lincolnshire PR's are on FMP........searchable ONLY by Parish
