ArgyllGran Report 2 Jan 2014 23:20

Per ScotlandPeople:

No record of their marriage in Stirlingshire. There are 7 John Gardiner (or variation) marriages in Stirlingshire 1770-97, but none is to a Jean (or variation), nor to a Morton.

There are 16 marriages of a Jean Morton (various spellings of both names) in Scotland as a whole during the same period, but none is to anyone Gardner or variation.
