Dear Ann, Flip, Chris & Reggie

Thank you all for your quick response, which is appreciated.

I'm not very savvy with online searching and the various options, all very confusing. Perhaps I'm not getting the best out of
the Genes Reunited site.

Helena Charlotte Smith, quoted in Chris's reply is my grandmother.

Had hoped with the eight children born to Elizabeth & Samuel Smith, one of the descendant would of the exact date of
death of Elizabeth.

Again thanking all for their help and guidance.

With kind regards.

JOHN.

FIRST WISH ALL FRIENDS & HELPERS - HAPPY NEW YEAR

I'm trying to trace the exact date of death of my great grandmother ELIZABETH SMITH.

ELIZABETH DAWS born 16 June 1853 St Lukes London, to Robert & Mary Daws. Married Samuel Smith 1871 in Bethnal
Green. Five children born in London, Samuel 1871, Ellen 1872, Elizabeth 1874, Florence 1875, Ada 1877. Three further
children born Brighton, Arthur 1880, Edith 1884, Helena 1885.

Elizabeth's husband was a Hatter by trade, and it was his job which took them to Brighton. I believe while in Brighton,
Elizabeth use to sing on stage. The couple lived in several places in London and Brighton.

Samuel died in the Work house in 1900, and at the time their address was 107 Virgina Road, Bethnal Green.

Elizabeth's age on 1911 Census is 57, and she had moved to 35B Sidney Road, South East Hackney, London.

I have tried for a number of years to establish the exact date of death of Elizabeth Smith, which I understand was in the
any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated, to this most difficult search.

HOPEFULLY one of the eight children above are members of Genes Reunited.

Thanking all in anticipation.

With kind regards.

JOHN.
