	Have you tried googling for info? That's where most people would start Was she born to Belgian parents? If they were British.................records are on FMP, and certs can be obtained through the GRO

Member Since: July 2003 Posts: 105 Send Message	Hi, thanks for the advice. Not sure how you knew who my grandmother was? You are right about her death and husband. She was born of Belgium parents, in the Borgerhout district of Antwerpe. Her father was called Cornelius, which I got from her wedding certificate which I have, he was a timber merchant store keeper, also from the wedding certificate, but that's all I know so far.
