Thanks to all for this information and Ann and Detective for including the Family Search entries.
I think that as Oare and Orlestone are both on the same film (1736929) it could be either, but by looking at the Bishops Transcripts under the Kent.OPC link advised by Potty it is almost certain that the correct parish is Orlestone and has been "mis-indexed" for Family Search.
I will look at the original film either locally in Cardiff at the LDS centre or plan a visit to Ashford s suggested.
