For 1861 Co Durham, use http://www.freecen.org.uk/cgi/search.pl (the coverage is complete - it's also 87% complete for 1861 Northunberland and 33% complete for 1871 Co Durham).

Durham - Sunderland For England/Wales 1871, use FS: https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1538354 (the coverage is 100%). Here's your Wm: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/VBZ2-95B
If you compare these hits with the Ancestry transcriptions Jonesey posted, you'll see FreeCEN's transription is more detailed - it basically contains all the info. FS's transcription omits the census ref (and Ecclesiastical parish) that Ancestry provides - checking: http://www.freecen.org.uk/statistics.html for 1871 Durham, we see piece # 5008 is one of the untranscribed pieces at FreeCEN.
1841-1901 (excl 1881), Ancestry don't transcribe the address, marital status, occupation, disability - one has to check the image to supplement Ancestry's transcription to get those, and then type addenda to the Ancestry transcription (or use the FMP/GR transcription), so these details are usually omitted in posts here. (Ancestry use the FS transcription in 1881)
