I am researching my Irish roots. Currently I am back to a church marriage record from Dromara, County Down. Hugh Wallace and Mary Cowan, married Oct 2 1818. This record I found on Roots Ireland. I seem to have come to a bit of a standstill to go back any further as the information in this record is very skimpy. I would welcome any assistance from the community at large. Trying to find their birth/baptism records and parents if possible. One possible hit was a Mary Cowan born 1791 to a Samuel Cowan in Anahilt Presbyterian, County Down |
