Is it possible to trace John back without marriage cert? John married Mary Ann Parry 17 May 1885 Brymbo. Mary Ann was daughter of James and Catherine Parry. Mary Ann died 13 Jan 1888 Brymbo. In 1891 John with children living with James and Catherine. John may have remarried 1893 to Annie Lloyd. I have a suspicion that there are too many John Davies.

1911 is he living in Clayton Road, Broughton with Annie and kids

In 1891 he is living in Broughton with Mary E(1887) and Alfred (1888)

Given that there are two possibles in 1881 then it looks like the marriage cert is needed

Also they are both coal miners
