Thank you all for your replies they have helped me with my research a great deal.
I was researching the family Sarah Annie Scott married into and by a stroke of very good luck and by accident as things like this happen some times I came across a newspaper announcement relating to a Christening in 1902.It stated that Sarah Annie was the daughter and granddaughter of the people mentioned previously.

Could someone please help me find the parents and family of Sarah Annie Scott.She was born about 1879 Newcastle,her father was William James Scott born about 1859 Berwick,his wife's first name was Alice.
