	Where did you marry please? Just wondering when he married if the marriage certificate gave his DOB. What occupation did the marriage certificate give for his father please? Did it say if his father was deceased? If he died in Scotland what names did the informant give for his parents?

	Where did he marry? If he married in Scotland, the names of both parents will be on the cert In which month was he born? Have you tried looking for census info? Where did you learn that he was born in Dumfries? Look for his birth on Scotland's people............credits cost £7.00 for 30, but you can download the cert
