Did Ellen remarry??

But still no George - unless Wm Henry has become George????? George maintains an age on census that makes his birth 1861/2, which was Wm Henry's year. Did he have a third name that wasn't on the registration, but then took his dead father's name at some point??

Hi,
yes Ellen did marry again. You are right it was to Howkins.
Regards the birth it could be possible that George was not the given name. Maybe George was actually Henry?????? and after his dad passed people called him little George in memory of is poor old dad and it just stuck. Either way it is troublesome & annoying! Birth's should be relatively straight forward to find........................I Wish.
