Reggie,

Sorry, No I didn't read the site guidelines...

However I did know that these last two ancestors would be extremely difficult as there have been attempts before....

So no worry.....Thanks for trying.

Bestest,

Ian

No record on FMP of an emigration to match your info...unless the woman had married prior to leaving the UK

Our tree which has grown and grown is nearly complete, although saying that, it os like a gigantic puzzle with bits getting added now and again.

However there remains 2 issues which have not been resolved and we would like to find out about 2 people who we have tried our best but to no avail.
This will be a real challenge for anyone out there...If no reply, then it will be understandable.

First...Alexandrina Ann Jane Campbell Duncan born 02/11/1892 Nigg, Kincardineshire (Now Aberdeenshire)....
James Fordyce did not marry Alexandrina, but emigrated to Canada in 1913 with his brother John who came back and lived in London...James was in the CEF during WW1 and lived and died in Canada. Mary Duncan said uncle James never married( he didn't) but St Mary's Inverurie church records and school records all show why and what happened. They were to have married but as Alexandrina had a previous child that James was unaware of, he declined to marry her and went to Canada 5 months after young James was born. Alexandrina deserted them. Grandma Mary Fordyce looked after James until she died in 1916 and Margaret came back from her war duties to look after him for 2 weeks before arranging care for him. Margaret always kept in touch with James while he lived there, and then the family in NZ.

Apparently Alexandrina emigrated to the States around 1916+/- 5yrs.

Secondly.....
Andrew Hutton born 1884, Peterhead.
Andrew and his brother Tom went to South Africa....
Andrew reported the death of his brother Thomas in S.A. in 1952, but unfortunately unable to find out any more details of him.
He must have died in S.A. but no details from there...Suspect he never married like his brother, but not sure.....Family never mentioned him.

Thank You All.
